Search Engine Optimization

Technical fixes, content strategy and links — planned from what an audit actually found, and measured against rankings we check every day.

SEO that starts with measurement, not opinion

Most SEO proposals are written before anyone has looked properly at the site. Ours start with a full audit, because the difference between a site with a crawl problem and a site with a content problem is the difference between two completely different engagements.

We run the audit first, free, before you commit to anything. If it turns out your real problem is that half your pages are blocked in robots.txt, we would rather tell you that in week one than bill you for six months of content while the blocker sits there.

After that the work is unglamorous and mostly the same every time: clear the technical obstacles, build pages that deserve to rank for terms people actually search, and earn links from places that matter. What changes between clients is the order and the emphasis, and that is what the measurement is for.

What the engagement covers

Technical remediation

Crawlability, indexation, site speed, redirect chains, canonicals, structured data and hreflang — everything the audit flagged as critical or warning, worked through in priority order.

Keyword strategy

Built from search volume, difficulty and intent data rather than a brainstorm. We separate the terms worth chasing now from the ones worth chasing in a year.

Content planning

Driven by the content gap against your real organic competitors — the keywords they rank for and you do not, ranked by what you can realistically win.

On-page optimisation

Titles, headings, internal linking and page structure, against the pages that already carry your rankings rather than the ones you wish did.

Link acquisition

Outreach and digital PR, plus disavow hygiene on anything toxic already pointing at you.

Reporting that is live

A dashboard you can open any time, plus a monthly report generated from the same data. No hand-assembled slides.

What is different about how we do it

Every one of these is a direct consequence of owning the software rather than renting it.

  • You see the same numbers we do. You get a login to the platform we work in. Every ranking, every audit finding, every task — the same view we have, not a filtered summary.
  • Rankings checked daily, to 100. Most reporting stops at position 10, which hides all the progress that happens before you reach page one. We track to the top 100, so movement from 60 to 30 is visible.
  • Findings name specific URLs. Every issue we raise points at the pages it affects. Your developer never has to guess which pages we meant.
  • We tell you what we cannot do. Nobody can guarantee a ranking. We will tell you honestly when a target is unrealistic, which is more useful than agreeing and missing it.
Whichever service you take, you get a login to the platform. Not a monthly PDF — the actual dashboard, with the actual numbers, updated daily. See what is in it.

How we start

A free audit

Step 1

Before any proposal, before any money. We run the full audit on your site and tell you what it found. If that reveals we are not the right fit, you have lost nothing.

A scoped proposal

Step 2

Written against what the audit actually found, with the reasoning visible. You should be able to disagree with a priority and have a real conversation about it.

Setup and access

Step 3

Your project is configured, keywords go into tracking, and you get a login on day one. You watch the same numbers we do from the start.

Work and review

Ongoing

Execution tracked as tasks against the project, rankings updated daily, and a monthly review generated from live data rather than assembled by hand.

Common questions

How long before we see results?

Technical fixes can show up in weeks. Content and links generally take three to six months to move competitive terms. Anyone promising faster on a competitive term is either lucky or lying — and you will be able to watch the actual daily numbers rather than taking our word for it.

Do you guarantee first-page rankings?

No, and nobody honestly can. Search engines do not take instructions from SEO vendors. What we commit to is the work, the measurement and telling you the truth about both.

Can we keep our existing developer?

Yes, and most clients do. We produce the technical specification — with the exact URLs and the exact changes — and your developer implements it. The audit export is written to be handed straight over.

What happens if we stop?

You keep the work. The fixes stay fixed, the content stays published and the rankings do not evaporate. We will export your data and hand it over.

The other services

Local SEO

If your customers are in one city, a national ranking average tells you almost nothing. We track what people in that city actually see.

More questions about search engine optimization

How long does SEO take to work?

Technical fixes can show results in two to eight weeks. Content and link building typically take three to six months to move competitive terms, and six to twelve months for the hardest ones. Anyone promising first-page rankings faster than that on a competitive keyword is either getting lucky or not being straight with you.

Can anyone guarantee first-page Google rankings?

No. Search engines do not accept instructions from SEO vendors, so no agency or software can guarantee a position. What a good provider can commit to is the work, honest measurement, and telling you when a target is unrealistic before you spend money chasing it.

Should I do SEO myself or hire an agency?

Do it yourself if you have someone in-house who knows what to act on and simply needs better data. Hire out when the bottleneck is expertise or time rather than information. The honest test is whether your last three SEO decisions were made from measurement or from guesswork.

What should an SEO report actually include?

Current positions with their history, the specific URLs that rank, Search Console clicks and impressions, what changed since the last report, and what is being worked on next. If a report shows rankings without dates, URLs or a comparison point, it is presentation rather than measurement.
