A note on data sources. "Live SERP" means we read the actual Google results page. "DataForSEO" means a commercial data provider we buy from. "Search Console" means Google's own first-party numbers for your property. "Direct fetch" means we request the URL ourselves and parse it — no third party involved. Knowing which is which matters, because they disagree sometimes, and when they do the disagreement is usually the interesting part.

The entry plan is not a restricted demo. It is the whole platform with a smaller allowance: 250 tracked keywords and 22,000 credits to spend however you like.

SEO tool questions

Which tools you actually need, and what the metrics inside them mean.

What SEO tools do you actually need?

Four things cover most of the work: rank tracking with real depth, a technical crawler that names the affected URLs, keyword research with search volume and difficulty, and backlink data. Everything else is refinement. Buying five overlapping subscriptions is the most common way to overspend on SEO.

What is keyword difficulty?

Keyword difficulty is a 0–100 estimate of how hard it would be to rank on page one for a term, based mainly on the strength of the pages already ranking. Under 30 is realistic for most sites, 30–60 needs genuine content and links, and above 60 is a long-term project rather than a quick win.

What is search intent and why does it matter?

Search intent is what someone actually wants when they type a query — informational, navigational, commercial or transactional. It decides what kind of page can rank. Targeting a transactional keyword with a blog post, or an informational one with a product page, is the most common reason good content fails to rank.

How do I check if Google has indexed my page?

Search Google for site: followed by the exact URL. If nothing comes back, the page is not in the index and cannot rank at any position. Common causes are a robots.txt rule, a noindex tag, a canonical pointing elsewhere, or simply that Google has not judged the page worth including yet.
