Getting started
How quickly can I be up and running?
Usually within one business day. We set every account up by hand — user, credits, and your first project configured with the right country, locations and competitors. The first rankings arrive on the next scheduled run, typically the following morning.
Do I need to install anything on my website?
No. Rank tracking, keyword research, competitor analysis and backlink data all work without touching your site. If you want Search Console data included we will ask you to grant read access to your verified property, which takes a couple of minutes and can be revoked at any time.
Can I import keywords I am already tracking somewhere else?
Yes — CSV import handles that. And if you run a Full Site Audit first, it will find what you already rank for and import the best of it automatically, complete with current positions, so you are not starting from an empty list.
What is the cheapest way to try it?
Two options. Ask for a
free site analysis — we run the full audit on your domain and send you the report, at no cost and with no obligation. Or start on
Studio at $399 a month: 250 tracked keywords, 1 project and 22,000 credits. Studio is not a restricted demo — every tool is open on it, including the site audit. There is no contract, so you can stop after one month.
How the tracking works
How accurate are the positions?
We read the actual results page and match your domain, rather than estimating. Two honest caveats: search results are personalised, so no tool can tell you the position every person sees, and we look at the top 100 — below that we report "not ranking" rather than inventing a number. That is why we show Google Search Console figures beside our own: where the two disagree, the gap is itself informative.
How often are rankings checked?
Daily on every plan. On Agency and Network you can flag individual keywords for 6-hourly re-checks, which is useful during a launch or a recovery. Every keyword also has a manual "check now" button.
Can I track rankings in a specific city?
Yes, per keyword rather than per account — so one project can track national terms and city-level terms side by side. The location is encoded the way Google encodes it, so the results genuinely reflect that place.
More on how that works.
Do you track my competitors too?
Yes, and it costs nothing extra — competitor positions are read from the same results pages we are already reading to find you. One limitation worth knowing: we stop reading once we find your URL, so if you rank third we have only seen page one and only know about competitors on page one.
What happens to my ranking history if I cancel?
It stays intact while your account exists, and we will export it for you on request. We do not hold your own data hostage.
Plans and credits
Why price in credits rather than just features?
Because our costs are genuinely per-request — every rank check and research lookup is a real call to a real data source. Credits let us open every tool on every plan instead of gating features to justify tiers. You pay for what you actually use, and
every price is published.
Are any tools locked to higher plans?
No. All 49+ tools are open on every plan, including Studio. The only things that vary by plan are how many keywords and projects you can hold, your monthly credit allowance, team seats, report frequency and API access.
What if I go over my keyword limit?
We will get in touch rather than cutting anything off. Plan limits are a conversation, not a tripwire — if you are slightly over during a busy month, that is fine.
Data and access
Can I give a client access to just their own site?
Yes. Users are assigned to specific projects, and someone scoped to one project cannot see any other — not in the dashboard, not in reports, and not through the API.
Can I get the data out?
CSV export from most tables, a Markdown export of every site audit, HTML reports that print to PDF, and a
read API on Agency and Network. It is your data.
Do you sell or share my data?
No. Your projects, keywords, rankings and Search Console data are yours, used only to provide the service. See the
privacy policy.
Can you submit a disavow file to Google for me?
Nobody can — Google provides no API for the disavow tool, so no software anywhere can submit one. What we do is build the list as you flag toxic domains in the backlink tools and export it in Google's exact upload format. You upload it once, by hand. Be suspicious of any tool that claims otherwise.
Pricing
What exactly is a credit?
A credit is one unit of outbound work. Checking one keyword against one page of Google results costs 1 credit. Fetching a URL for a technical tool costs 1. A keyword research lookup costs 1–3. Every charge is written to a ledger you can read line by line inside the panel, and the full cost table is published on our
credits page — nothing is hidden.
How many credits does tracking actually use?
A keyword ranking on page one costs 1 credit per check. A keyword that is not ranking has to be scanned deeper, up to 10 pages, so it costs up to 10. Across a normal portfolio the average is around 3 credits per keyword per day. That is the number every plan on this page is sized against.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Nothing breaks and nothing is billed by surprise. Actions that need credits stop and tell you the balance is short — the charge is atomic, so you are never left with a half-finished batch you paid for. Add a top-up pack and carry on.
Do unused credits roll over?
Monthly plan credits are topped back up to the plan allowance each cycle. Credits from a top-up pack sit on top of that and never expire.
Can I change plan later?
Yes, up or down, at any time. Your projects, keywords and full ranking history stay exactly as they are — only the allowance changes.
Is there a contract?
No. Plans are month to month and you can stop whenever you like. Annual billing is available on request if you would prefer a single invoice.
How do I pay?
Send an order through the form and we will set the account up and invoice you directly. We are onboarding accounts by hand at the moment, which means you get a real person configuring your first project rather than an empty dashboard.
