Local SEO

If your customers are in one city, a national ranking average tells you almost nothing. We track what people in that city actually see.

Local results are a different search engine

Search for a plumber in one neighbourhood and then two towns over, and you get substantially different results. That is not noise — it is Google doing its job. Which means a tool reporting your "average position in Lebanon" is averaging across results that have very little to do with each other.

Our platform encodes location the way Google encodes it, per keyword. So a keyword tracked for Beirut is genuinely measured as it appears to someone in Beirut. That sounds like a detail. It is the difference between knowing whether you are winning and guessing.

It also changes what you optimise. When you can see that you rank third in one city and nowhere in the next one over, the work becomes obvious in a way it never is from a national average.

What the engagement covers

City-level rank tracking

Every keyword tracked in the specific places you serve, not at country level. Track national and local terms side by side in the same project.

Local competitor analysis

Who actually ranks in your city, which is frequently not who ranks nationally — and often not who you think your competitors are.

Location page architecture

Structure, content and internal linking for multi-location businesses, without generating the thin duplicate pages that get sites penalised.

Local schema markup

LocalBusiness structured data validated against what Google actually requires, not what a plugin guessed.

Citations and consistency

Name, address and phone consistency across the directories that still matter, and cleanup where they disagree.

Reviews strategy

Getting more of them, responding to them, and understanding their effect on what you rank for locally.

Why the tracking matters here more than anywhere

Every one of these is a direct consequence of owning the software rather than renting it.

  • Per-keyword locations. Location is set per keyword, not per account. One project can track "seo agency" nationally and "seo agency beirut" locally without splitting into two.
  • Encoded, not approximated. We pass the location in Google's own location parameter. We do not route through a proxy in roughly the right country and hope.
  • Stored on every result. Each historical position records the location it was measured from, so your trend chart is comparing like with like.
  • Multi-city, one dashboard. If you serve six cities, you can see all six, per keyword, in one table — rather than six separate reports you have to reconcile by hand.
Whichever service you take, you get a login to the platform. Not a monthly PDF — the actual dashboard, with the actual numbers, updated daily. See what is in it.

How we start

A free audit

Step 1

Before any proposal, before any money. We run the full audit on your site and tell you what it found. If that reveals we are not the right fit, you have lost nothing.

A scoped proposal

Step 2

Written against what the audit actually found, with the reasoning visible. You should be able to disagree with a priority and have a real conversation about it.

Setup and access

Step 3

Your project is configured, keywords go into tracking, and you get a login on day one. You watch the same numbers we do from the start.

Work and review

Ongoing

Execution tracked as tasks against the project, rankings updated daily, and a monthly review generated from live data rather than assembled by hand.

Common questions

We only serve one city. Is this overkill?

The opposite — it is the only setup that tells you anything useful. A national average for a single-city business is a number with no meaning behind it.

Can you track the map pack?

We track organic positions with city-level targeting, which is what determines the blue-link results your customers see. Map pack position is a separate surface with its own ranking factors — we advise on it, and we are honest that our tracking measures the organic results rather than the map.

We have several branches. How does that work?

One project, with each keyword tagged to the relevant city. You get one view across every location, and can compare how the same term performs in each.

Do reviews really affect rankings?

They affect local visibility and they very clearly affect whether someone clicks your result over the one above it. We treat the second effect as the more reliable one.

More questions about local seo

What is local SEO?

Local SEO is the work of ranking for searches where the results depend on where the searcher is. It covers city-level rank tracking, location page structure, LocalBusiness structured data, name-address-phone consistency across directories, and reviews. It matters for any business whose customers are within travelling distance.

Why do my rankings look different in another city?

Because Google deliberately localises results. Two people searching the same term in different cities see substantially different pages, which is why a single national "average position" tells a local business almost nothing. Rankings should be measured per city for any term where the searcher's location changes what they want.

How do I check my Google ranking in a different location?

You need a tool that encodes the location into the search request itself, the way Google does. Changing your own browser location or using a proxy in roughly the right country is not reliable enough. Newinterval sets the location per keyword, so one project can track national and city-level terms side by side.

Do online reviews affect local search rankings?

Reviews influence local visibility, and they very clearly influence whether someone clicks your result rather than the one above it. The second effect is the more reliable one to plan around: a better-reviewed listing earns more clicks at the same position, and click-through rate is measurable in Search Console.
